    The New Indian Education Policy of 2020 allows skill based internships for children as low as 12 years. India has one of the worst Child Labor records along with the highest drop out rates among boys and girls at the age of puberty. Also country sees a massive push for manufacturing self sufficiency and dwindling labor laws in the wake of Covid 19. What laws and monitoring policies need to be enabled and strengthened to safeguard these children from moving into child labor.
